Millionaire Chess – Charity Update

Millionaire Chess Update

He did it!

We are delighted to report that Duncan has completed his Millionaire Chess challenge.

He played seven gruelling games over 4 days, each lasting more than four hours, against Chess Masters from all over the world.

Through his fundraising efforts (including the promised forfeit on games lost) the Las Vegas trip has added a healthy £1780.50 into our running total.

Duncan’s personal highlight was achieving a draw against Grandmaster Anjelina Belakovskaia, captain of the U.S. Chess Olympiad Team and three times U.S. Women’s Chess Champion.

For those of us who didn’t make the trip, the highlight was Duncan’s win in the best dressed competition!
